The Room 311 “Prague”Prague is the ancient city. Its special growing up was in XIII-XIV centuries, mainly during government of Charles IV, the Czech king and Roman emperor. Then, in 1348 the oldest in Central Europe university (the modern name — Charles University) had been constructed. The abundance of architectural monuments and parks makes Prague one of the most beautiful cities of Europe. The old areas have kept the congested building and a lay-out subordinated to a relief of district. The oldest parts of Prague — Gradchany and Mala-Strana, as well as Statre Mesto (Old city) located on opposite, right bank of Vltatva — connects the oldest in Central Europe the stone Charles bridge constructed in 14 century. |
