The Room 305 “Old Prague”

Once the emperor Charles IV, being in Prague city, invited an archbishop Arnoshed from Pardubits, the chancellor and the highest burggraf of Czech kingdom, some notable pans both noblemen of Czech and some famous scientists master’s degree, including a court astrologist. In magnificent chamber, the wooden ceiling of which was decorated fretwork, painting and gilding, and wall by expensive French lanes, Charles sat with the visitors at a table, where at bright light many waxen candles the gold and silver utensils, plate, cups and bowls of the remarkable form and furnish shone.

When all present people had supper and it became stuffy in chamber, emperor stood up and invited the visitors breath by fresh air, came out with archbishop on a balcony. Pans and masters followed them, continuing briskly to talk.

When they had entered on a spacious balcony, the emperor and his visitors became silent and stopped stroked by the beauty of their royal city.
