Once Pharaoh XVIII of a dynasty Tutmes IV, had been being a young man and hunting for antelope in western desert and having got tired, he covered from hot solar beams in a shadow of a Sphynx Harmahis and slumbered, as the crushing voice rang out:

  —  Rise, young man and wake up! This is me, Harhamis-átum-hepri, talking with you! The sand of desert filled up me, it is heavy for me. Release me, rake away sand, and I’ll make you the most powerful among the pharaohs ever reigning in Egypt!

Having woken up, Tutmes executed the will of the god. And when he had inherited throne, he remembered the oracular dream and in memory of it he ordered to cut the wall with an inscription telling about this event, and to establish it in perpetuity near the Sphynx. He became the greatest Pharaoh.

Harmahis (in Egyptian — Chorus-am-ahet — “Chorus in the sky”) — hypostasis of “young Ra” — Hepri. The most famous graven image of Harmahis — Large Sphynx of Pharaoh Havra in Giza. Sometimes Harmahis was represented as a lion with a head of a falcon.
